Conference interpreter

Since graduating from Berlin Humboldt University as an interpreter in 2002, I have worked as a conference interpreter in German, Spanish and Italian. My work includes both consecutive interpreting for readings by authors, press conferences, exhibition openings and negotiations, as well as simultaneous interpreting at trade conventions, seminars and lecture events. In terms of subject areas, I am at home in renewable energies, engineering and technology, art and architecture, as well as business and industry.

I laid the foundations for my future career as a conference interpreter early on. After attending school in Italy for a year and studying for two semesters in Spain, I made numerous trips to Latin America. As a result, I not only learned the languages but also got to know the cultures of my language areas.

Alongside my work as a conference interpreter, I have been a managing director of TL TRANSLATIONES in Berlin together with Kristina Lange since 2003. In this role, I am involved in business management, marketing and finance, which have added to my areas of expertise.
